Established in 1923, Perelada is one of Spain's most dynamic wineries which is still family owned and run. They produce premium still wines in the small Empordá appellation, which is an hour and a half from Barcelona. It's become one of the most prestigious wine producing regions in Spain. Grapes for this wine come from 3 of Pereladas vineyards and is a complex blend of samsó (carignan) merlot cabernet sauvignon garnacha and syrah. The vines are on average 19 years old and the grapes were hand harvested. Perelada 3 finques has ripe fruit aromas and with fine ageing notes. In the mouth it is nice well balanced with ripe tannins. Medium-bodied with a long finish and lots of personality.Intense cherry red. On the nose there’s a predominance ripe fruit and some fine ageing notes. In the mouth it is nice, well-balanced, with ripe tannins. It has a medium structure. A long and enveloping wine, with lots of personality.
